MPE Entertainment was proud to present a custom quilt to the dedicated committee members of the WV Coal Festival in Madison WV. The members have been involved since the conception of the festival which began 20 years ago.

This was presented at the opening ceremonies to the 20th Annual WV Coal Festival on the steps of the Boone County Courthouse. The inscription on the quilt reads:

“This quilt was donated by Bill Heaberlin and his team at MPE Entertainment to honor four individuals for their exemplary service, dedication, commitment, and leadership in creating and operating both the West Virginia Coal Festival and the WV Coal Heritage Museum for over two decades.

Their generous support has added immensely to the quality of life and appreciation of the history of the coal industry, benefiting residents of Boone County, the state of West Virginia, and all who visit here now and for generations to come.

¬†Joy Underwood, Delores W. Cook, Larry V. Lodato, & James “Jimbo” Clendenen are perfect examples of the best of West Virginia. We all owe them our eternal gratitude and appreciation for a job well done.”
